Like you, I don't want to compromise who I am just to fit in but on the other hand, I recognize that there are some parts of the culture that I have to embrace to keep from banging my head against the wall. Trust me when I tell you, I have not found the right approach for this yet but I am determined not to let 'em win. And what I mean my that is I'm not willing to sacrifice my peace of mind or my health because I'm struggling with the nonsense that has nothing to do with doing my job.
