Thanks J Paul. Transparency and open communication is so incredibly welcomed in this new reality. For those uncomfortable w/ this change will find it harder to do business and establish a level of trust. Without communication and trust they face a disengaged workforce (that wants to be innovative & change things for the better) and difficulty growing an engaged customer base. All of this & more impacts the bottom line.

Aren't you glad technology helped to flatten the world?

Self evaluation is timeless. The recession made this even more important due to the perfect storm of the crash and a complete overhaul in the dynamic in how providers communicate with consumers.

We live in interesting times and those who refuse to awaken to how incredibly fast the mechanism of business is changing will be lost.

This new reality is forcing us to become more transparent and authentic. I personally love it but I know many who aren't so excited to have their cheese moved daily.

Great article Cathy. Really enjoyed it.
