It&#039;s been so long since I worked in a &quot;suit and tie&quot; job that at first I laughed at the idea of GM putting out a release on their dress code.  &quot;Casual Fridays&quot; sounded very 1990-ish to me.  But, after reading the entire article I realized there are many companies that still do things the way they&#039;ve always done it and blue jeans might just be a step in the right direction when it comes to changing minds and attitudes-- especially at GM.  I hope they succeed.</description>
